Meghan started at Salon Santina’s as receptionist back in 2000. She was drawn to the position because she had always had a passion for hair. After spending a few years behind the desk she thought it was time she spent some time behind the chair. She attended Lee Votech cosmetology school and started as a full time stylist at Salon Santina’s in 2003.
Meghan’s enjoys the interaction that she has with people at the salon. She likes making an idea a reality which results in making a person look and feel their best. Meghan’s biggest strength as a stylist is her ability to communicate. She spends time with each guest in helping them create the look they want with color and cut. She then takes the time to educate the guest on how to create their style after they get home. Part of Meghan’s passion of being a stylist comes from her dedication to continued education. Meghan is a Redken color specialist, Redken Master Designer and Redken Certified Colorist. She is also certified in Keratin Complex. She is inspired by art, creative fashion and music.
Meghan, a dedicated mother to her daughter, always tries to be a better person, never giving up because she wants to provide for her, teaches her values like hard work and always doing your best. She enjoys spending free-time with her family and friends. One of her favorite hobbies is baking and decorating cakes for family and friends. She also spends time fundraising for Relay for Life, Harry Chapin Food Bank and local church events.
Best Styling Tip:
When blow drying curly hair straight; make sure to use product that has smoothing agents. Always start at the bottom sectioning hair. Never move on until that section of hair is dry.
